This is a guide on how to activate your license key for Workbench products. This includes DOC xPress, BI xPress, LegiTest and DBA xPress.
Open the Pragmatic Workbench software. On the left hand side, click ‘Help’ and then select ‘Register’ on the right hand side of the Licensing window. If you are using a version of the Workbench that is 2017.3.3.807 or below, the user interface will display the activation buttons in a separate format – reference the ‘old activation screen’ screenshot below.

If your environment is connected to the internet, proceed to “Online Activation“ and if your environment is offline or has security measures (like a group policy or active firewall) that block outside connections, proceed to “Offline Activation”.
If your new environments are connected to the internet, select 'Use an activation key' then 'OK'.
Add your activation key to the 'Activation key' field. The 'Environment Identifier' is a field where you can choose what you wish to identify this specific activation with. This is useful for applying a meaningful name so you can keep track of which environment your key is activated on. When ready, select 'Activate' to finish the process.
If your environments are not connected to the internet or are behind security that blocks outside connections, select 'Activate manually without Internet connection' then select 'OK'.
Copy your Environment Key to your clipboard, and then paste it into an email to email@example.com. In your email, please include an environment identifier you wish to label this activation with – this can be anything you wish and is simply used as a way for you to keep track of what environment you are activated on. Support will reply to your email with a manual activation block that you will copy and paste into the ‘Manual key’ field – include the full block of text that begins and ends with ‘-----'. Finally, select activate and you will have finished the transfer of your license.
