How to activate your Task Factory license.
From the environment that has Task Factory installed, open the ‘License Manager’ application. You can locate this by searching ‘license manager’ from your Windows quick search or by searching this file path in your file explorer: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Pragmatic Works\Task Factory\PragmaticWorks.LicenseManager.exe
After you have the ‘License Manager’ application open, click on ‘Install a License’. If your environment is connected to the internet, proceed to “Online Activation“. If your environment is offline or has security measures that block internet connections, proceed to “Offline Activation”.
If your new environment is connected to the internet, select 'Use an activation key' then 'OK'.
Add your activation key to the 'Activation key' field. The 'Environment Identifier' is a field where you can enter a value that will be associated to this specific environment. In many cases, the computer name is a good choice. When ready, select 'Activate' to finish the process.
If your environments are not connected to the internet or are behind security that blocks internet connections, select 'Activate manually without Internet connection' then select 'OK'. Alternatively, if you would like to configure security to allow connections to the Pragmatic Works activation servers, please see the article Task Factory License Activation Site and Port Info Allowing Communication With Our Licensing Servers.
Copy your Environment Key to your clipboard, and then paste it into an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, please include an environment identifier you wish to label the environment with. Support will reply to your email with a manual activation block that you will copy and paste into the ‘Manual key’ field. Finally, select activate and you will have finished the activation of your license.
